Australia may strict laws to tackle cyber crime

If your computer gets infected with a virus, the Internet service providers could cut off their connection and will resume only when the problem is solved.
Well, this plan has been proposed in Australia to fight cyber crime. Such recommendations have come from an inquiry that continued for a year on cyber crime. The House of Reprentatives Standing Committee on Communications did the inquiry.

The nuisance of the cyber smart hacker into an organized transnational crime committed for vast profit and often with devastating consequences for its victims,” The committee heard larger numbers of Australians who were targeted by cyber criminals. The cyber crimes are costing the Australian business $649 a year.
The committee covered all types of cyber crimes like phising, hacking, malware and botnets. It has recommended creation of a round the clock help line to deal with cyber crime. Other suggestions include changes to the law to make unauthorized installation of software illegal and the effected consumers should be paid compensations by the companies which release the IT products.
